In God's sweet name, don't we ever look back any farther than WHERE the accident happened? Everybody wants to put a bandaid on catastrophic wounds and NEVER look back to find out what caused it to start with. We need mandatory birth control. If there wern't so many of us, most of the terrible things that are going on , wouldn't be. And more importantly, If babies were brought up by caring, responsible parents, we wouldn't be assailed at every street corner and in our own homes by addicts trying to score and survivors of abuse and neglect, who are overcome by rage and hate at what was done to them as helpless children.

Start at the beginning and get it right.

滴(dī)水(shǔi)之(zhī)恩(ēn)当(dāng)以(yǐ)涌(yǒng)泉(quán)相(xiāng)报(bào)
Literally: A drop of water shall be returned with a burst of spring.
Meaning: Even if it was just a little help from others, you should return the favor with all you can when others are in need.

Climate change is about to teach us the meaning of sacrifice.

Absolutely true!! We must not back down now, to do so will be to set ourselves up for bigger problems in dealing with the situation in the future.

I absolutely agree that the choice is still open, to achieve legally-binding reform - or not. And also that the media, whose influence, in my opinion, is far too strong and frequently ill-informed, has a duty NOT to down-play or nay-say this potentially hope-filled occasion in Copenhagen. What intelligent person will not think positively and hopefully of this effort!

Good post by WWF. When I take a look to Climate Change negotiations they always remind me of the trade ones within WTO. How hard is to have an agreement between so many states with so mnay diferent interests!!! Domestic arena vs. international arena...but let's be honest, not so far away have 190 or more states negotiating a deal about a public good was utopic, and where are we now? We need the reform of International Public Law!!! Climate Change is the best example, but maybe is part of the real solution to achieve a real world governance!!!! Cheers
