Italy was the host of G8 Summit this year and chose L’Aquila (a city recently hit by earthquake) as the summit venue under much criticism.

Heading towards G8 summit in L’Aquila, Italy
Leaders of the world’s wealthiest industrialized countries gather in L’Aquila from July 8-10.
